AiSensy Alternative for India (2026): Pricing, Message Rates and How to Choose

AiSensy Alternative for India (2026): Pricing, Message Rates and How to Choose

AiSensy is one of the most widely used WhatsApp Business API platforms among small businesses in India, and for good reason: it has a free plan, a low entry price and a long list of features. But once a business starts using it every day, the bill often grows past the headline price. The chatbot builder is an add-on, AI replies are another add-on, extra agents cost more each month, and every marketing message has its own charge. That is usually when owners start searching for an AiSensy alternative.

This guide compares AiSensy with ConverseIQ on the things that decide your monthly bill: plan prices, add-ons, team seats, India message rates, chatbot, AI and CRM. It then works out what three common teams would pay on each. A note before we start: CodeBase Coders makes ConverseIQ. We have tried to keep this fair. Every AiSensy figure comes from AiSensy's own pricing page as checked on 27 October 2026, we explain where AiSensy is the better choice, and we say plainly what we could not verify. Prices change often, so confirm current rates before you buy.

At a Glance

  • AiSensy: a Free Forever plan without broadcasts, then Basic at ₹1,500, Pro at ₹3,200 and Premium at ₹9,100 a month, with 1 owner and 5 agents on Basic. The chatbot builder (₹2,500 a month) and AI Agent (₹1,350 a month) are paid add-ons.
  • AiSensy message rates in India: ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility, authentication or service message, compared with Meta's list rates of ₹0.8631 and ₹0.115.
  • ConverseIQ: WhatsApp plans from ₹1,200 a month, with the chatbot builder included, the AI assistant from Growth (₹2,500), a built-in CRM, and a WhatsApp + CRM bundle from ₹2,400. Messages are billed at Meta's rate plus 20%: ₹1.0357 per marketing message. Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial.
  • The real comparison is plan + add-ons + messages for your team size, not the entry price alone.

Why Businesses Look for an AiSensy Alternative

Most businesses that look for an AiSensy alternative are not unhappy with the product. They are surprised by the total cost, or they have outgrown the way it is set up. The common reasons are:

  • Add-ons stack up. A plan that starts at ₹1,500 a month becomes ₹4,000 once you add the chatbot builder, and ₹5,350 with the AI Agent.
  • Per-message rates. Since marketing messages are always charged, and service replies are billed beyond a free allowance from 1 October 2026, the rate per message matters as much as the plan price.
  • Growing teams. Each agent beyond the plan's allowance costs ₹750 a month, so a sales team of ten pays noticeably more than a team of five.
  • Lead tracking. Many businesses want leads, follow-ups and pipeline stages next to their WhatsApp inbox, not in a separate CRM connected through an integration.
  • Hands-on help. Some owners want a team that will set up templates, flows and the CRM with them, and build custom features later.

AiSensy Pricing in India (2026)

AiSensy lists five plans. These are its monthly-billing prices; quarterly billing saves 5% and yearly billing saves 10%:

PlanPriceTeamHighlights
Free Forever₹0Live chat dashboardFree WhatsApp Business API, Blue Tick application, ₹50 conversation credits. No broadcasting.
Basic₹1,500/month1 owner + 5 agentsBroadcasting and retargeting, shared inbox, Shopify and WooCommerce, 40 messages a second
Pro₹3,200/month1 owner + 5 agentsAdds campaign scheduler, click tracking, agent routing and developer APIs
Premium₹9,100/month1 owner + 9 agentsAdds number masking, downloadable reports, a webhook, priority support, 250 messages a second
Unlimited₹45,000/monthUp to 200 agents1,000 messages a second and a dedicated account manager

Three add-ons can be bought on top of any plan:

  • Chatbot builder: ₹2,500 a month for 5 chatbots (₹2,250 a month billed annually), with keyword, QR and Meta ad triggers, cart management and catalogue sharing.
  • AI Agent: ₹1,350 a month including 1,000 AI messages, with knowledge-base answers and tool calling. More AI messages cost extra.
  • Extra agents: ₹750 per seat per month.

Segments are also limited by plan: 2 on Basic, 10 on Pro and 50 on Premium. If you segment customers by city, product or lead stage, check that limit before you choose a plan.

AiSensy Message Rates vs Meta's Rate Card

On every WhatsApp Business API platform, you pay for messages on top of the subscription. Meta sets the base price. For messages to Indian numbers, its INR rate card effective 1 October 2026 lists:

Message typeMeta list rateAiSensy rateConverseIQ rate (Meta + 20%)
Marketing (offers, launches, reminders to buy)₹0.8631₹1.09₹1.0357
Utility (order updates, payment reminders)₹0.115₹0.145₹0.138
Authentication (OTPs)₹0.115₹0.145₹0.138
Service (your replies within 24 hours)First 1,000 a month free, then ₹0.115First 1,000 a month free, then ₹0.145First 1,000 a month free, then ₹0.138

Almost every provider adds a margin to Meta's rates; what matters is how much. AiSensy's rates are about 26% above Meta's list rates. ConverseIQ adds 20%. Meta's rates are before tax, and AiSensy's page does not say whether its rates include GST. For a business that sends 3,000 marketing messages and 2,000 utility messages a month, that works out like this:

  • At AiSensy's rates: 3,000 × ₹1.09 + 2,000 × ₹0.145 = ₹3,560
  • At ConverseIQ's rates: 3,000 × ₹1.0357 + 2,000 × ₹0.138 = ₹3,383.10
  • At Meta's list rates, for reference: 3,000 × ₹0.8631 + 2,000 × ₹0.115 = ₹2,819.30

On this mix, ConverseIQ's message charges come to about ₹177 a month less than AiSensy's, and the gap grows with every campaign. Whichever provider you consider, ask for its India rate for each message type in writing, and whether GST is included. Our WhatsApp marketing cost guide explains how to estimate a full month.

ConverseIQ Pricing (2026)

ConverseIQ is the WhatsApp marketing platform built by CodeBase Coders, a software development team based in Noida, and launched in October 2026. It is sold as WhatsApp, CRM, or both together:

Every plan includes a two-way shared inbox and broadcast campaigns. The chatbot flow builder is part of the platform, with automations limited by plan, and Growth adds the AI assistant and advanced automation. The AI runs on a free model included with every workspace, or on your own Claude, OpenAI or Gemini key, in which case you pay that provider for usage. The CRM module starts at ₹1,200 a month, and the WhatsApp + CRM bundle at ₹2,400 (Starter) or ₹5,000 (Growth). Optional add-ons include:

  • Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads Sync (₹290/month): Import leads from your Meta Lead Ads forms into the CRM automatically.
  • Accounting & Invoicing (₹499/month): GST-ready invoices from a contact, with numbering, tax and payment tracking.
  • Google Sheets Sync (₹799/month): Two-way sync between your CRM leads and a Google Sheet.
  • Site Visit Scheduler (₹999/month): For real estate: schedule site visits with WhatsApp confirmations and reminders.

WhatsApp messages are charged on top of the subscription at Meta's list rate plus 20%: ₹1.0357 per marketing message and ₹0.138 per utility, authentication or service message to Indian numbers, with the first 1,000 service messages a month free. Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial with no credit card. See the full plans on our ConverseIQ page.

What Three Common Teams Would Pay

Entry prices do not tell you much on their own. Here is the monthly subscription for three typical setups, using monthly billing and published prices, before GST. WhatsApp message charges are extra on both platforms.

AiSensy alternative cost comparison: monthly subscription for a 3-person team with chatbot, a 10-person team with chatbot and AI, and WhatsApp with a CRM pipeline on AiSensy and ConverseIQ
Monthly subscription only. Message charges, GST and any AI usage on your own key are extra.

1. A shop or clinic with three people and a chatbot

On AiSensy, Basic (₹1,500) plus the chatbot builder (₹2,500) comes to ₹4,000 a month. On ConverseIQ, Starter (₹1,200) includes the chatbot builder but only 3 automations; Growth (₹2,500) gives 25 automations and the AI assistant. Many small teams will be fine on Starter, so test your flows in the trial first.

2. A sales team of ten with a chatbot and AI replies

On AiSensy, Basic covers the owner and 5 agents, so ten people need 4 extra agents (₹3,000). Add the chatbot builder and the AI Agent, and the total is ₹1,500 + ₹3,000 + ₹2,500 + ₹1,350 = ₹8,350 a month. On ConverseIQ, Growth at ₹2,500 includes 10 seats, the chatbot and the AI assistant. If you connect your own AI key, add that provider's usage charges.

3. A business that wants WhatsApp and a sales pipeline

Coaching institutes, real estate teams and B2B sellers often need every enquiry tracked through stages until it converts. On AiSensy you would use Basic (₹1,500) and connect a separate CRM through its marketplace, so add that CRM's price. On ConverseIQ, the WhatsApp + CRM bundle starts at ₹2,400 a month with one pipeline across chats and leads.

When AiSensy Is the Better Fit

AiSensy is a strong product, and for some businesses it is the right choice:

  • You want to start free. The Free Forever plan gets you the WhatsApp Business API and a live chat dashboard at no cost, which is useful if you only reply to customers for now.
  • You need more than three logins on the entry plan but no chatbot. Basic includes 1 owner and 5 agents.
  • You send very large campaigns. Sending speeds of 250 messages a second on Premium and 1,000 on Unlimited suit high-volume senders.
  • You want privacy controls such as number masking for agents, which comes on Premium.
  • You prefer a long-established platform with a large marketplace of ready integrations.

When ConverseIQ Is the Better Fit

  • You want the chatbot without paying for an add-on, and a lower total for a small team.
  • You send a lot of campaigns. A 20% margin on Meta's rates (₹1.0357 per marketing message) keeps message charges below AiSensy's ₹1.09.
  • Your team is growing. Growth includes 10 seats and Scale 30, instead of paying for each extra agent.
  • Every chat should become a tracked lead. The built-in CRM keeps the pipeline, follow-ups and notes next to the inbox.
  • You want AI without a per-message AI bill, using the included free model or your own key.
  • You want a team in India that can build custom features such as integrations with your billing, ERP or booking system when you outgrow the standard plan.

To be balanced: ConverseIQ is new, so it does not yet have AiSensy's track record or integration marketplace, and Starter allows 1,000 conversations a month. Use the free trial with your own workflow before deciding.

Other AiSensy Alternatives Worth a Look

ConverseIQ is not the only option. WATI and Interakt are two other well-known WhatsApp Business API platforms in India, each with different strengths: WATI has a long list of integrations and AI agents on higher plans, and Interakt offers unlimited agents on its mid-priced plans and publishes its message rates. We compare both, with INR pricing, in our WATI and Interakt alternative guide.

If you are still on the free WhatsApp Business app and wondering whether you need an API platform at all, start with our WhatsApp Business App vs API guide. Many owner-run businesses do not need one yet.

When You Need More Than a Platform

A WhatsApp platform covers the common needs: inbox, broadcasts, chatbot and CRM. Some businesses need WhatsApp to work inside their own systems instead:

  • A hospital or clinic that wants appointment booking and reports sent from its own hospital management software.
  • A school that wants fee reminders and attendance alerts from its school ERP.
  • An online store that wants order, payment and delivery updates from a custom e-commerce platform.
  • A business that wants an AI chatbot trained on its own documents and connected to its stock or booking data, or an AI agent that completes tasks.

In these cases, a custom WhatsApp API integration can cost less over time than paying for features you do not use. Our AI chatbot development cost guide shows what a custom build involves. You can also test simple WhatsApp lead capture today with our free WhatsApp link generator.

Switching From AiSensy: What to Plan For

  1. Your WhatsApp number: ask both providers how your number and WhatsApp Business account will move, and plan the switch for a quiet day.
  2. Message templates: list your approved templates so they can be recreated and approved again if needed.
  3. Contacts and opt-ins: export contacts with their opt-in records, tags and attributes.
  4. Chatbot flows: write down each flow, its trigger and its answers so it can be rebuilt and tested.
  5. Integrations: reconnect your store, payment links, Google Sheets and ads, and test them end to end.
  6. Chat history and wallet balance: export what you can and use up prepaid credits before your plan ends.

Questions to Ask in Every Demo

  • What will my monthly bill be for my exact team size, including every add-on I need?
  • What is your India rate for marketing, utility and service messages, and is it above Meta's rate card?
  • Do your prices include GST?
  • What happens when I hit a chatbot, automation, AI or conversation limit?
  • Can you show my real use case, not a generic demo?
  • How do I export my contacts, templates and chat history if I leave?
  • Who helps with setup, and what support do I get after launch?

What we could not verify

AiSensy's pricing page does not say whether its plan prices or message rates include GST, so we compared them as listed; the same question applies to ConverseIQ's prices, so ask us too. We have not included customer counts, ratings or reviews for either platform, because none could be checked independently.

Conclusion

The best AiSensy alternative depends on how your team works. AiSensy is a good choice if you want to start free, need five agent logins without a chatbot, or send very large campaigns. ConverseIQ suits small and growing teams that want the chatbot, AI assistant and CRM in one subscription, with seats included as they grow. Whichever you consider, add up the plan, the add-ons and the message charges for your real team and message volume, then test both with your own workflow.
